Botones del Valle is a button manufacturer with over 60 years of experience and a national leader in the Guatemalan button making industry. They have also positioned themselves as pioneers in the Central American export business. The company approached me to refresh their brand identity after decades of using their previous image. The objective was to create a new face for the brand that stays true to their history in an elegant and contemporary style that appeals to current audiences.

Botones del Valle es una fábrica de botones con más de 60 años de experiencia y líder nacional en la industria botonera guatemalteca. Además, se han posicionado como pioneros en el mercado de exportaciones de Centroamérica. La empresa me contactó para Refrescar su Identidad de Marca después de décadas de utilizar su imagen anterior. El objetivo era crear un nuevo rostro para la marca que reflejara su historia en un estilo elegante y contemporáneo atractivo para el mercado actual.

With the new Brand Identity System in place, Botones del Valle has given me the opportunity to contribute to their constant growth efforts through the creation of new materials and tools to strengthen their brand’s market presence. One such element was the creation of a countertop display case that allows select retailers to show the latest button styles.

Con el nuevo Sistema de Identidad de Marca establecido, Botones del Valle me ha dado la oportunidad de contribuir a sus constantes esfuerzos de crecimiento mediante la creación de nuevos materiales y herramientas que fortalecen su presencia de marca en el mercado. Uno de estos elementos fue el diseño de un mostrador de mesa que permite a distribuidores selectos exhibir los más recientes estilos de botones.

As a part of their expansion efforts, Botones del Valle commissioned the design of a Company Profile presentation to introduce themselves to potential new customers. For this project, they also trusted me with their brand’s voice through copywriting, and allowed me to showcase their world of buttons through photography, all tied together through the thread of a cohesive layout design.

Como parte de sus esfuerzos de expansión, Botones del Valle me encargó el diseño de una presentación del Perfil de la Compañía que les permitiera presentarse a nuevos clientes potenciales. Para este proyecto, también confiaron en mí para dar voz a su marca a través de la redacción, y me permitieron mostrar su mundo de botones a través de la fotografía, todo unido con el hilo conductor de un diseño de maquetación cohesivo.
